FAQs

  • Do you offer any warranty on brake repairs?

Yes! We stand behind our work with a comprehensive warranty program:

    • Brake pads, rotors and calipers: 5-year/50K-mile warranty

Our warranties cover normal wear and tear but exclude damage from accidents or extreme driving conditions. We use only quality parts that meet or exceed manufacturer specifications.

  • How long does a brake repair typically take?

Most standard brake services can be completed the same day.

We recommend scheduling an appointment to minimize wait times, though we do accommodate same-day emergency brake repairs whenever possible.

  • What's the difference between brake pads and rotors?

Brake pads are the friction material that presses against the rotors when you apply the brakes. Rotors are the smooth, round discs attached to your wheels that the brake pads grip to slow your vehicle.

Pads typically wear out faster than rotors and need more frequent replacement. However, rotors can become warped or too thin over time and also require replacement. During our inspection, we'll check both components and recommend only what's necessary.

  • How often should I replace my brake fluid?

We recommend replacing your brake fluid every 2 years or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first. Over time, brake fluid absorbs moisture, which can lead to corrosion inside the brake system and reduced braking performance.

Signs that your brake fluid needs changing include:

    • Dark brown or black color (fresh fluid is clear to amber)
    • Brake pedal feels soft or spongy
    • ABS warning light is o
    • Poor braking performance
