Brake pads are the friction material that presses against the rotors when you apply the brakes. Rotors are the smooth, round discs attached to your wheels that the brake pads grip to slow your vehicle.
Pads typically wear out faster than rotors and need more frequent replacement. However, rotors can become warped or too thin over time and also require replacement. During our inspection, we'll check both components and recommend only what's necessary.
